Sanctity of Marriage
- I support the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman.
- I do not support the creation of legislation that creates a special class based upon the behaviors of any specific group of people.
The Sanctity of Life
- I believe that life begins at conception.
- I do not believe that two wrongs can ever make something right.
- I believe in right of every human being regardless of age, physical ability, mental ability, gender, or communication ability to have a quality life.
- I believe that the cost of abortion, economically speaking, to this country is astronomic in scope.
- I have signed the 2010 personhood amendment petition for placement on the 2010 Colorado Ballot.
- Abortion has been scientifically demonstrated to raise the likelihood of a woman contracting breast cancer (http://www.abortionbreastcancer.com/).
What About the Budget?
- The State of Colorado needs to examine its current fiscal policy with a view towards reform on expenditures.
- The State of Colorado needs to completely overhaul its current tax structure to create an environment beneficial to all Coloradans.
- The State of Colorado should encourage the aggressive pursuit of Six Sigma cost management strategies in every department.

The Economy
- Jobs, Jobs, Jobs … what else is there? Clearly, the economic engine needs to be jump started
- Colorado needs to creatively examine how to foster and encourage the development and growth of women and minority owned businesses.
- Colorado needs to enact an aggressive plan to attract major corporations, mid-size businesses, and small businesses to conduct business, open locations, and create jobs here.
- Colorado needs to work on developing the “destination” aspects of our great state and attract more events that bring people to visit our great state.
- Colorado needs to develop incentive programs that results in the creation of long-term jobs.
- Colorado needs to create incentives to further develop and enhance existing green energy alternatives including wind, water, geothermal and solar.
- We need a responsible environmental approach to governance not a reactively restrictive approach.

Our Energy Independence
Should be of the highest priority for Colorado, we have the natural resources to make it so...
- We should make every effort to become a leader in energy exports that includes electrical power, as well as with fossil fuels.
- We should make every effort to build brand new nucelar power plants (2) within the next 10 years.
- We should work with the oil & gas companies, large and small, to effectively develop all oil & gas reserves possible, including shale oil.
- These efforts represent the creation of jobs, energy independence, national security and overall enhancement of Colorado's future.
WATER, one of our most precious resources ... it's a complicated issue to manage when moisture averages less than 18" per year across the state, and when the arid and semi-arid areas receive even less.
We should re-examine and potentially renegotiate the outsourcing of Colorado's water to other states.
